Really looking forward to the Caldy trip and have just completed my match preview, which I'll post here later this morning.

The weather forecast looks mild, which in part is a relief, as long as it doesn't detract from the full Paton Field experience and jeopardise the chances of the fire remaining unlit while fuel is conserved for harsher conditions in the winter. Also hopeful that the rumours I've heard will turn out to be true, and that a limited edition Bean Crock (our 'national' dish) flavoured Pot Noodle will be served at the pre-match lunch and post-match players banquet.

The Jersey Evening Post has marked the occasion with a special full-page profile on the Ravers in today's edition, which can hopefully be shared via social media.

Having a full page about the Ravers in any newspaper will be a first ......we don't appear to exist as far as the Liverpool Echo or the Wirral Globe is concerned!

It is likely to be mediterranean tomorrow hitting highs of 12C and witha gentle breeze of 30 mph

I see Jake Polledri, a young up and coming flanker, is playing for Hartpury tomorrow. Hopefully with valuable game time in the Championship he can push forward and challenge the Gloucester 1st XV for gametime later in the season.
