Would be expecting to see this coming out any day now - last year fixtures were released on Friday 31st May and honestly I was hoping that we'd have seen them last Friday - hopefully we'll get the release tomorrow...

I was talking about National 1. I am reliably informed that they are due in the next few days. Can then start speculating about coaches and a potential weekend away in Bristol for Clifton v Moseley.

I think that's an unfair cheap-shot J10 - the people who administer the leagues from tier 3 downwards, many of whom are volunteers, invariably do a good job and aren't in the habit of huckleberrying things up... I'd be surprised if they don't hit their deadline, and that if it is missed it wouldn't be more than a few days late.

I'm always bemused by the number of people who get so vexed by the fact that the fixtures for the new season don't get released until less than three months before the opening round. It's summer - watch some cricket, go to a fete, hire a pedalo, just turn off your device and go and do something less boring instead!*

Travel plans have to be made and special train ticket prices go on offer 12 weeks out and are limited so there is a need to know early enough in case we are away to Plymouth, or the 2 Mancunian teams. Leeds etc in the first couple of games ( I know we have asked to play away week 1)

Rabbie

Good evening matey

Has National One promoted the mighty Broughton Park up many levels to join Sedge as the other Mancunian side. WinkLOL As Im confused. I can’t see the second side from Manchester you allude to in National One 😂😂

Typical southerners they know nowt outside London.😂😂

All the best

National League 1 and 2 fixtures are handled by the National League Rugby Secretary, who is an exceptionally hard-working volunteer. The Structured Season has been published so we know the Break weeks and the Reserve weeks. The fixtures are due "in the next few days" according to his latest email.

One complication has been the Playoff weeks within the Structured Season.

Anyway, it's only a few more days until everyone can start moaning about why they have to travel there then and wouldn't it have been nicer to play that team then!

On another point, as Club Secretary this is my busy period! I'm looking forward to the rugby starting when I can have a rest!
