PGH 7 Sedge 46 FT PGH made a huge effort first half but with possibly some strong words and words of encouragement from Scott Barrow Sedges DR, whatever this seemed to do the job as the second half was all Sedge.

I've decided that Hull Ionians is one of my favourite clubs to visit. Ticks all the boxes.
Wharfedale were dreadful for the 1st half. apart from 2 x 2 minute spells. Much, much better 2nd half and probably deserved 2 losing bonus points, rather than the 1. Some great rugby from the greens, and some equally as awful stuff too. Ionians solid in attack and defence as per. Edited by backrowb - 07 Jan 2023 at 21:57 |

Great game today and I agree that Wharfedale deserved two points.
Composure in the attacking 22 was the difference....oh and using the wind!

I only went and forgot to post them  .The game was as tight as they always are, neither side was going to give up. Even when they went down to 13 in the last 10 mins, Huddersfield fought for everything and managed to come away with the win.
