Young and has potential, scoring a few good finishes but I think he’ll be more a squad player for you at least initially. There have been quite a few Bedford/Saints that have ended up at Ealing with Bird-Tulloch the one who has only really broke through. You’ve had Gillespie, Newman (has played a bit), Irvine and probably some more I’ve forgotten about. |

Strange in the press release from Ealing that said he’s had an impressive season on loan to us (barely played) and was involved in the win against Ealing (was an unused sub). He’s rapid and definitely has potential but in his one start early on in the season he was exposed defensively a few times and then didn’t really feature again.

I recall Louis James being exposed defensively a few times (costing us the win against Jersey - in their Championship-winning season - on one occasion) but look at him go now!

A couple of days ago I noticed Ampthill RFC posted an announcement on their website about retained players for next season, starting with the announcement that Richard Barrington was the first to put pen to paper. I think it also said further announcements would be posted in the coming days. This to me was a massive improvement to previous seasons with regards the club's PR and I was very impressed. I have gone to the website this morning to see if there were any follow up posts and notice that the original posting has now been taken down. Can anyone shed any light on what has happened here?

I would imagine the previous capital injections have defaulted as £££ is being pulled out the club and redirected to other investment streams, champ rugby in Bedfordshire may fall to 1 team in the coming seasons, and they'll be Blue Unless Biggleswade have a rich farmer suddenly investing.... loves squash, im not talking Robinsons
