Excellent fight back from Cambridge but not quite enough. I'll take 2 points on the road (he said through gritted teeth!!) 🏉🏉

Top of the table pack hitting up after Cinders & Stortford wins.

If there was a referee on the pitch who knew his rectum from his elbow Mowden could have won. He was woeful!!!

A game of fine margins at Chinnor. With added time being played, Plymouth led 25-22 but with a penalty to Chinnor inside the Albion 22. Rather than take the points and draw they went for the corner. Unfortunately for them, the referee awarded a penalty to Plymouth at the line-out.

It wasn't over yet though, as Chinnor stole the Plymouth line-out and got back to the 22. Good defence forced some desperate play and after a fumble the ball was fly-hacked into the Chinnor half and Albion scored another try, which not only gave them the bonus point, it deprived Chinnor of a losing bonus point !

With 5 defeats from 6 it might be a long season for Chinnor.

A full report is attached for anyone interested

Always difficult to know when to bank the points and when to go for broke.
