It is with great sadness that Wharfedale announce the passing of Michael Harrison, known to many as Clarty. A Wharfedale stalwart and a vociferous champion of National League rugby, he was a fundamental part of the clubs rise up the leagues and competing in National 1 for 20 years, as coach and director of rugby. One of two big characters I remember from Jersey's season in N1 (2011/12) - pretty sure MH was a key player in a major sing-song in the clubhouse here when Wharfe visited us. Condolences to all at the club. (The other was John Shotton from Tynedale...)
