Seems like these clubs have been pragmatic....surely some of the others must be off?...
Stourbridge travelling to Wharfedale is optimistic....

The MLOC has taken the Initiative in the Midlands and decreed all games at Level 5 and below have been postponed
Would seem sensible to me and save all this toing and froing between individual clubs

Not all games below level 7 in the Midlands have been postponed. I know of at least 2 in Leicestershire that are still on tomorrow and they're may well be more.

Unusual for an away team to cancel a fixture. Luffbra and Hoppers making  similar journeys. Pitch at Dale in great nick.

May be some mileage in this

Been told by a friend who is mini and junior coach at a level 6 club that they have had an email from the RFU stating that all matches for this weekend should be cancelled due to the storm

Pitches may be playable but safety of travel between clubs is paramount in this type of weather, far better to play it safe and postpone rather that risk travelling long distances in storm conditions I would have thought.

Lions quoted H&S of players and supporters for the reason game is off, would not be nice for Redruth to travel all that way in this.

Redted, Wasps traveled from Coventry about20 miles while Redruth is a little further, and Sky there.

The match was called off due to pitch conditions on Friday, with steady, not heavy, rain forecast for the Saturday.  Winds whilst high were no worse than we played in the week before.  We get these sort of winds every other week in the SW!
Obviously the Lions pitch is suffering after a wet winter.

Taken from the Lions site
The Lions v Redruth game has been rearranged for Saturday 14th March 2020

Please note that the game against Redruth, due to be played on Saturday 15th February 2020, was been postponed because of the pitch conditions and the adverse weather forecast. It has been rearranged for Saturday 14th March 2020.
