Post your scores here.

Should be a good crowd at Hare Lane today, fingers crossed we can finish the day with a rare win against the league leaders.

Great game at the Avenue today, As alway ! Typical Christmas game, great atmosphere and banter, chuck in the Yorkshire, Lancashire roses game rivalry and you have everything. Typically in these games you also had a red rose win, and a well deserved one. The referee was very one eyed, all very Yorkshire .๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.(Even the HRH assessor )

A Massive shout out for GP, who made us very welcome, as we were his guests. Thank you for a great day.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all at the Green Machine and all in NL2N

Caldy overpowered Chester in pretty well every facet of the game. I thought that Davies & Barker at half-back were outstanding and was nice to see ex-Chester player Callum Bennett score a try on his first appearance for Caldy.

Really disappointed that none of the officials told the Chester back row to leave the pitch after he was clearly knocked out and unresponsive for several seconds. Equally more disappointing Chester keep him on.

amazing the amount of players who leave a club only to go back and score against them, not usually in the same season though.

ST o it was so good to catch up with the royalty of SP after such a long sojourn into the hallowed turf of Gallaghers.  Cracker of a game, ably facilitated by the officials.  Both YCs correct although I think you got away with one in the second half close to the try line Clap

As ever the Wharfdale supporters knowledge of the laws is nowhere near their hospitality!  Kind of yoru DoR to give me one of your finest pork pies!

All in all a fair result, a cracking game and crowd and it was finished of by seeing SCALPY running at one point on the pitch resplendent if suitable headwear

Cracking matched h up at the Avenue. Sedge were the better team, exploiting every Dale mistake to the full. I'm always impressed by Collins s at 10, he moves his backline with such pave and skill.

The Dale fans are no more ignorant of the kaws than any other fans; they're just louder.

We lost, but what a great day at athe Avenue, buoyed by a good away contingent.

Fantastic result for your boys, Seagoon. Caldy were on fire and never looked in danger of losing control of the game.  Great to see a bumper crowd filling up the stand.

Pre-game I was optimistic of a losing bonus point, but it just wasn't to be.  Again, this game shows that when we aren't in control we really struggle, especially when the opposition are in the ascendancy like Caldy were.

Hard to see where any dropped points are coming from in the remaining games, if anyone is capable I'd put my money on Sedge.

Yesterday was the first that many of us fans knew of Bennett leaving; I spotted him in the warm-up training with the Caldy lads.

Does anyone know why he switched?

I always liked him at Fly Half so long as the kicking duties were with someone else.  He isn't a bad kicker by any means, but not having that monkey on his back allowed him to concentrate better on controlling the game.  That last minute kick he slotted to take the win at Mortimer Park a few years ago is up there in my best moments watching Chester.  Good luck, Cal!

Hi DD
In answer to your question re. Callum Bennett...โ€ฆ.. I haven't spoken to the lad, but I do know that it wouldn't have been for more money!

All the best for Christmas + New Year (that's to you, personally, not necessarily your club) LOLLOLLOL

Will be interesting to see the outcomes of:

Caldy v Sedge (8th Feb)
Fylde v Caldy (15th Feb)
Sedge v Caldy (22nd Feb)

Caldy look quite unstoppable but you never know โ€ฆ

And seasonal greetings to everyone at Paton Field! Looking forward to buying you a drink Seagoon in mid-Feb. I suspect that you'll be well on the way to the championship of N2N by then.
