Week 20 fixtures for 29/2/20 Carlisle vs Alnwick Harrogate vs Wirral Kirkby Lonsdale vs Billingham Macclesfield vs Blackburn Morpeth vs Lymm Rossendale vs Ilkley Sandal vs Blaydon Looking at these games , I cant see too many obvious predictions but let's have a look and try and get a few pointers. Carlisle got crushed at Blackburn last time out but may well have had a few unavailable so wouldn't read too much into that result, Alnwick don't travel well so going HW here. Harrogate have the best playing record in the league just 3 defeats in 19 games yet occupy 2and spot in the table due to a lack of try bonus points, I expect Harrogate will take the maximum points against a Wirral side who are trying to get away from the danger zone at the lower end of the table. Kirkby Lonsdale have a good home record while Billingham have been on the slide after a terrific start to the season, they got back to winning ways last time after a 5 game losing streak, tight game expected , going narrow AW. Macclesfield got out mauled by Sandal last time in shocking conditions, they should get back to winning ways but Blackburn won't make it easy, going HW. Morpeth have shown a few signs of improvement and Lymm wont relish the trip to the North East, think a tight game in prospect that could go either way, going a narrow AW. Rossendale are only 5 points clear of the danger zone with 7 wins from 19 games, but given that Ilkley are visiting Marl Pits and have just 2 wins all season, I cant see that improving, going HW. Sandal and Blaydon have identical win/loss records at 14 and 5, again bonus points the difference, can Sandal take down the league leaders, I'm going for a home win here.
