This has given an opportunity to a number of adult players who turned 18 season to play the against teams who sit several levels above. As there is, in effect no contact, so no fear of being hit, by the big boys. It has given the young men the opportunity to play competitive games, and see what more experienced players are capable which they wouldn’t necessarily get playing with players their own age

Has any other clubs experienced this?

No scrum, no maul. Tackle and Ruck remain. Less space to avoid contact in. Instead of 16 Forwards tied up in scrums they'll all be part of the attacking/defensive line at restarts. Not sure on the several levels above thing either. Some of the RFU Cluster have Level 5/6 mixes based on locale and the NCA Cluster have Level 3/4 mixes for the same reason. Think it will make for a faster game with "off the top" lineout ball the new fashion. It will be a good learning area for Players  experiencing the first taste of Senior Rugby but hardly a "hit Free" scenario, on the contrary a lot of Front Five forwards will now be in a position to do some significantly more tackling and pity the poor 18 year old rookie looking to run at the usual lightweight options from the Front Five.

How slow is your Internet Connection if you're referring to something that started in September? We've moved on and in fact games were played yesterday under the adaptive laws. Did anybody see any games?

Pirate Amateurs had first and second team games at Penryn and Pirates Colts played Falmouth.

With Kernow in Tier 1 there are a few fixtures planned for Boxing Day and in the new year. I guess that will depend on us staying in Tier1, but cases are on the up.

1) Training but will not play until we go to stage F

2) Taking a cautious approach and will need several weeks to allow players to get used to contact again

3) I believe London Scottish and London New Zealand (who have been training together) gave the new adaptive laws a crack yesterday
