Would of thought so, for benefit of supporters, sponsors etc. 

In a rare display of common sense from the powers that be the answer would now seem to be no.

West Park Leeds have a home match in the Yorkshire Silver Cup semi-final.

I know it's the latest in a run of sad steps, but that's a sad end to the season for a once level 1 club.

I’d say the reason is far more likely to be the costs to both clubs for a dead rubber as suggested by Rabbie Burns. WPL and Leeds have happily co-existed for 2 seasons now, and both matches had been accommodated. 

Quite so.  Someone was questioning a page or two back whether Leeds would (or perhaps should) continue. I would hope that we will find our level next season and the geography of the fixture list is certainly more appealing. In any event I am told that the agreement to play at the Sycamores has recently been extended for three more seasons.

God, the Leeds fans at Cambridge were worried it might not continue.

Let's hope you can establish a solid base and start the rebuild on a firm foundation.

And for Leeds as well!

I’d be surprised if this was a Leeds decision…… there’s been other weeks when both teams have played at WPL, and it’s the Leeds end of season dinner at the club on Sat night. 

With apologies for the lateness, I was detained at the club on Saturday, and had arranged tennis and lunch at Queen's Club yesterday.
